Frame of Mind for Weight Change

When we look at ourselves in the mirror, what do we see? Do you like what you see? Do you talk to yourself and say, I need to lose some weight? My waist is getting thicker, my butt is getting bigger.

If so, what is the next step you take? Do you start to enrol in the gym, an exercise class, a dance class? What do you do to push up your heart rate so that your metabolic rate starts to move and get you moving? You start with the gym, a class but after a month maybe two or maybe a year you count the times you’ve been for the class or the gym…no more than maybe 10 times or less. You’ve lost the motivation to go for it. You come up with excuses for not going. The question is, did you really think it through when you join the gym?

What I’m getting at is this, you are motivated to losing and shedding those pounds, however you haven’t really thought it through on what exercises can really get you there. It may be the gym, or a social dance class or kick boxing classes, jogging on the streets. Which ever choice you make to lose those inches, make sure that it’s one that you truly enjoy. That way you ensure that you continue with the class or the gym because when you have fun, you are definitely going to continue with it.
